Lakeside School

Since 2024, Lakeside has been offering a transfer service between the Shoreline S / 148th St. light rail station and both the Middle School and Upper School campuses; this free service is for Lakeside employees and students and will continue for the 2026-2027 school year.

To use the free transfer service, students must register with the school’s custom bus program; it is not an as-needed or occasional-use service. If your family would like to learn more about this transfer service for the 2026-2027 school year, don't hesitate to contact the school’s dedicated transportation team at info@lakesideschool.site. 

Morning transfers

A 50-passenger yellow bus, Route 951, operated by ZUM, will pick up and drop off light rail riders according to the following schedule:

After school transfers

A mini bus operated by Lakeside will pick up and drop off light rail riders according to the following schedule:

Evening transfers 

Route 951, departing the Middle School at 6 p.m. and the Upper School at 6:02 p.m., will drop off light rail riders at 6:08 p.m. before continuing its Westside evening activity route. 
 

Additional projects anticipated for the 2026-2027 school year that impact light rail access include the 148^th Street Non-Motorized Bridge and the opening of the Pinehurst light rail station. Families are encouraged to monitor both project pages for the most up-to-date information.
