Lakeside takes a lot of time. As my family has grown and my mother has gotten older, family life takes more time too. I have sacrificed working in grass roots communities. This has been especially so during the last two years trying to transform myself into a US History teacher. … I went from being an experienced school man to being a rookie teacher. I have worked harder than ever during the last couple of years learning history and learning the technology of teaching history. Thank heaven for the support of other teachers.
