Dear Lakeside Parents & Guardians,
We know many families are planning ahead for the cost of college. It’s important to know that how and where families save money can have long term implications for their student’s need-based financial aid eligibility.
The college counseling office provides families with timely and important information about funding a college education in numerous ways, including partnering with other Seattle Area independent schools to offer a five-part webinar series by College Money Method about funding a college education and maximizing aid eligibility. Additionally, College Money Method has built a page exclusively for Lakeside families with webinar recordings (posted within a week of each webinar) and countless other resources. You can access that page here.
Whether you join for the webinars below or watch the recordings, I hope they are helpful. All webinars are from 6:30 - 8:00 pm; registration links are posted on Lakeside’s College Money Method Resources page. While I’ve recommended webinars by grade level, families with students of all ages are welcome at any webinar.
